PILI is an Indonesian non-profit organisation which was established on May 1st, 2000. The vision of PILI is to create an "Indonesian society which understands and supports the conservation of biodiversity and natural resources for current and future generation's livelihoods". This vision is translated as our mission "the sharing and exchange of data and information on the conservation of biodiversity and natural resources in the Indonesian context as well as related to global environmental matters, and based on the promotion and facilitation of multi-stakeholder learning processes on related issues".

WWF is one of the world's largest independent conservation organizations, with almost 5 million supporters and a global network active in over 100 countries. WWF started working in Indonesia in the early 1960s focusing on Java Rhino research in Ujung Kulon.

 

In April 1998, WWF-Indonesia Foundation was established as a WWF global network's independent national organization. WWF-Indonesia Jakarta office leads and coordinates 24 field offices. WWF-Indonesia conservation programme takes place in protected areas in 16 Indonesian provinces. David and Lucile Packard Foundation

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation is a private family foundation created in 1964 by David Packard (1912-1996), cofounder of the Hewlett-Packard Company, and Lucile Salter Packard (1914-1987). The Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations in the following program areas: Conservation and Science; Population; and Children, Families, and Communities. The Foundation makes national and international grants and also has a special focus on the Northern California Counties of San Mateo, Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Monterey. Foundation grantmaking includes support for a wide variety of activities including direct services, research and policy development, and public information and education. The Foundation does not make grants intended to influence legislation or support candidates for political office.
